As I left a party last Friday (a goodbye party - we will be a-part[ie] - terrible joke...that's for you J) I had to laugh at all the bikes locked outside. such a lovely sight. We left ours at home, they never get to go to parties - poor dears.

I just want to hear that trickle of a thaw — like nature programs about foxes and their cubs...pan to a stream of spring melt water.

I took some peas out of the freezer and saw that they all had icy coats on.
The texture reminds me of the item I'm knitting at the moment. (I say item because it could become a present.) I love settling the stitches on the needle — it's like stroking a scrawny cat's back.
