we went to the Botanic Gardens for a cycle and it was a perfect day — the sun shone, james took lots of reference pictures for his illustrations and later we had three types of Polish cheesecake (Sernik)! the base of our ones were made from pastry rather than biscuits so they weren't too sweet and they were baked so they had that slightly soft, chalky texture. if i made it myself i'd leave out the intruder raisins though.
i've been trying to get a picture of a robin for years and today i did! a mixture of stealth on my part and an obliging sort of guy
Ah, you finally got it, well done. Every other one looked slightly possessed with red or white eyes but this one is perfect!!! Good job, it's lovely!
